Whoever ruined the PAC-12 really stinks & destroyed a piece of America

The roots of the PAC-12 go all the way back to the year 1915, yes that is over 100 years. I am not going to name names or call specific people out but holy cow did they shit the bed on letting one of the best parts of sports die. Yes…they let it die. And YES, one of the best parts of sports because guess what, college football is arguably one of THE best parts about the United States of America. The United States of America is without a doubt the best country in the world and one of those reasons is because of American Football. American Football has many levels (like all sports) going from pop warner, to high school, to college and then the NFL. The older we get and more we develop in sports it ultimately gets more intense as the competitive level grows. Pop warner games are exciting to see the youngsters learn about a team atmosphere and see if they really like getting hit or not. High School has those Friday Night Lights that give people a little extra adrenaline in there heart, the ones playing just want to proudly rep there school, get some highlights and win games. The ones watching have that nostalgia in the air for the boys of fall as they remember the good ole days. Then we get into college football, if you aren’t playing you wake up Saturday mornings knowing the slate of games will entertain you on the couch. If you are going to a game, you are ready to have an absolute day of rowdy fun. If you are playing in the game, well damn it is time to be great. The pageantry, the passion, the emotion, the highs, the lows, the sudden change of events, the concept of anything can happen…it is unmatched. Let me say that again, college football is unmatched. The PAC-12 is one of the key elements of the college football landscape: Reggie Bush running wild for USC, the Oregon Ducks iconic uniform combos, a game each week at the Rose Bowl with UCLA, the home of the west coast offense where speed kills, late night PAC-12 after dark shootouts…all of it. The PAC-12 is iconic, and some TV deals with dollar signs ruined it. It is known the college football landscape is changing, but the people in charge shouldn’t have let it get to that point.
